Privacy Policy

College vs Cancer ("we") is a student-run nonprofit initiative based in Orange County, California. We collect as little personal information as possible, and this page explains — in plain language — what we do collect and why.

What we collect

We do not collect payment card details on this website, and we never will. When online giving launches, payments will be handled entirely by a dedicated nonprofit payment processor on their own secure pages.

What we don't do

How we use your information

Only to reply to your message, send the newsletter you asked for, or follow up on a donation pledge. That's it. Every newsletter includes a way to unsubscribe, and you can also just reply "unsubscribe."

Children's privacy

We support children through hospitals and families — this website is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. We never publish a child's name, photo, or story without explicit permission from their family.

How long we keep it

Messages and email addresses are kept only as long as needed to correspond with you or send updates you requested. Ask us to delete your information at any time and we will.

Your choices

Email hello@collegevscancer.com to ask what information we have about you, correct it, or have it deleted. California residents have additional rights under the CCPA; the same email is the fastest way to exercise them.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date above. Significant changes will be mentioned in our newsletter.
